The United States President Trump took to Twitter to defend Justice Brett Kavanaugh after one of his former Yale classmates alleged him of sexual misconduct at a freshman year party. On September 15 President Trump tweeted that Justice Kavanaugh is an innocent man and has been treated horribly. One of the most senior judges at the US Supreme Court, Kavanaugh was accused by two women during his confirmation to the Supreme Court last October and will be facing investigation or impeachment over allegations of sexual misconduct.

The alleged accusations
Max Stier, who runs a non-profit in Washington accused Kavanaugh and allegedly claimed that he saw his former classmate “with his pants down at a different drunken dorm party, where friends pushed his p**** into the hand of a female student”. Brett Kavanaugh has been accused several times of sexual misconduct. Christine Blasey Ford testified before Congress that Justice Kavanaugh has sexually assaulted her in the later 1980s. Similarly, Deborah Ramirez also reportedly claimed that the Justice had waved his genitalia in front of her face at a 1980's dormitory party.
The US President recommended that Justice Kavanaugh take legal action against the claims and suggested that the Department of Justice intervene on the Judge's behalf and come to his rescue.

“SC Justices are not above the law”
The Democrats who will be standing against President Trump in the 2020 elections claimed that the SC Judge should be investigated and should be impeached. Senator Elizabeth Warren tweeted stating that “Kavanaugh should be impeached”. Similarly, Senator Kamala Harris also tweeted that Kavanaugh “lied to the US Senate and must be impeached”. Julian Castro also added that “Congress should review the failure of the Department of Justice to properly investigate the matter”.
