Trump denounces mob rule, doesn't mention Blake

President Donald Trump says that the justice system must and will hold accountable anyone who engages in police misconduct and that "mob rule" must never be allowed.

President Donald Trump says that justice system must and will hold accountable anyone who engs in police misconduct and that "mob rule" must never be allowed.

He appears to be referring in his Republican National Convention speech Thursday to ongoing civil unrest in Kesha, Wisconsin, that followed weekend shooting of Jacob Blake by police.

Trump did t mention 29-year-old Black far of six who was paralyzed from waist down after being shot in back. Trump h refused earlier Thursday to answer questions about shooting.

president is claiming that most of protests country witnessed this summer took place in cities with Democratic leership. He urged se leers to call him for federal assistance.

As he was closing his remarks, president joked that he was alrey in White House, while Democrats were t: " fact is we're here and y're t."
