Trump hails 'dawn of new Middle East' amid Israel's 'historic' deal with UAE and Bahrain

US President Donald Trump lauded the ‘dawn of a new Middle East’ while Israel signed the peace agreement with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain.

US President Donald Trump lauded ‘dawn of a new Middle East’ while Israel signed peace agreement with United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain. three countries along with US hailed deals, which aims at fully rmalising relations with Israel, as ‘historic’. 

Trump, who dressed a huge crowd at White House on September 15, said that after deces of division and conflict world marks ‘dawn of a new Middle East’. He ded, “We’re here this afteron to change course of history”.

On Tuesday, Trump oversaw signing of historic deal. peace agreement states that two Arab counties will henceforth rmalise diplomatic relations with Israel and thus will be able to exchange ambassors, establish embassies and enter into tre deals.

agreement, dubbed as Abraham Accord, saw UAE and Bahrain become third and fourth gulf countries to rmalise relations with Israel after Egypt and Jordan. peace agreement was signed by Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani and UAE's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed.

More Arab countries expected to follow UAE’s le 

After signing, Trump urged or Middle Eastern countries to follow UAE’s le and enter into peace agreements with Israel. He ded, “w that ice has been broken, I expect more Arab and Muslim countries will follow United Arab Emirates' le. And I want to just thank m-- it's t surprising, kwing Mohammed so well. It's t surprising. y are in that le position. And rmalise relations with Israel”. 

“We are alrey discussing this with or nations -- with very powerful, very good nations and people that want to see peace in Middle East. So you will probably see ors of se, but this is first one in more than 25 years,” US President said.

US President went on to d that deal was merely start of rmalisation process of Israeli ties with its neighbours and that more such deals are likely to occur. Trump also stated that deal will also allow Muslims from UAE and Bahrain to visit numerous historical sites in Israel.
