Trump in talks to set up own political party; drops big hint in farewell speech: Reports
Exiting Pres Donald Trump on his last day at the White House addressed the media & indicated that he is in talks with associates to form new 'Patriot Party'

A day ahead of Joe Biden inauguration as President of United States, Donald Trump has reportedly decided to form a new political party called 'Patriot Party'. He has discussed about same with his supporters, as per Wall Street Journal. Earlier, in his <>farewell address to US, Trump said that 'movement we started is just beginning'.
"w, as I prepare to hand power over to a new administration at on on Wednesday, I want you to kw that movement we started is only just beginning. re’s never been anything like it. belief that a nation must serve its citizens will t dwindle but instead only grow stronger by day.," he said.

Though he did t mention clearly in his speech as to what he means by "movement", he hailed "patriots" in his address. He said, "Toger with millions of hardworking patriots across this land, we built greatest political movement in history of our country. We also built greatest ecomy in history of world. It was about “America First” because we all wanted to make America great again. We restored principle that a nation exists to serve its citizens. Our nda was t about right or left, it wasn’t about Republican or Democrat, but about good of a nation, and that means whole nation."

Ahead of his exit from White House, US President Donald Trump became first leader in US history to be impeached twice. On January 13, House impeached Trump for inciting his supporters who later violently stormed US Capitol. Moreover, Trump has also said that he won't attend Biden's inauguration on January 20. In his parting shot, Trump issued Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro with sanctions on January 18 after he was accused of moving oil on behalf of President's alleged frontman.
Moreover, Iran imposed sanctions on Donald Trump and various members of his administration due to ir alleged role in support of “terrorism” that resulted in killing of top Iranian general Qassem Soleimani in 2020. As per reports by AP, spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said that sanctions were imposed on Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, CIA chief Gina Haspel and six or ranking US officials.
