Trump makes 'sexist' final appeal to suburban women, says will get 'husbands back to work'
Trump attempts to seal his election fate by hurling an outdated ‘husband’ narrative as he stumbles through the final appeals of the 2020 US elections.

In a sexist remark at Michigan rally ahe of Election Day, US President Trump makes attempts to ‘woo’ suburban women voters, saying, “I'm 'getting your husbands back to work.” While suburban white female voters have been most consequential base of electorate since mid-1990s in US presidential elections, making nearly half of all voters, Trump attempted to seal his election fate by hurling an outdated ‘husband’ narrative as he stumbles through final appeals of v.3, 2020 US elections.
Speaking to ‘Women for Trump’ crowd at Lansing, US President Donald Trump said, “We’re sending your kids back to school and your husbands to work, y wanna go to work,” neglecting working women and resounding 1950s mindset of women's’ burdens of schooling kids, and confining to household while men go out to work as coronavirus dres families in fall surge. Bragging his win with women in 2016, Trump continued that all women needed was household security. “And that’s going to happen again. Because women, suburban or orwise, y want security, y want security, y want safety. y want law and order,” Trump said. Furr, he attacked Michigan Gov. Meanwhile, at her first solo campaign event in Pennsylvania, First ly of US Melania Trump appealed to women, mitting, she “doesn’t always agree” with how Trump says things. She delivered remarks at a rally for women, saying, “I don’t always agree with way he says things, but it is important to him that he speaks directly to people he serves.” Melania’s remarks h left many women surprised as she insisted that y did t always have to agree with President but that his policies mattered.
