United States President Donald Trump is likely to choose Amy Coney Barrett as new judge of Supreme Court, CNN reported citing sources. seat was emptied after demise of Justice Ruth Ber Ginsburg and Trump h promised to appoint a woman for position. Last week, Trump anunced that he h shortlisted five women, however, Barrett, who has held position of Federal judge previously, has reportedly outshined ors.
"She was plan all along. She's most distinguished and qualified by tritional measures. She has strongest support among legal conservatives who have dedicated ir lives to court. She will contribute most to court's jurisprudence in years and deces to come," ANI reported quoting a former senior ministration official familiar with process.

Barrett is a former law clerk to late right-wing beacon Justice Antonin Scalia. She has been a federal judge for three years on United States Court of Appeals for 7th Circuit. However, sources warned that he could make a last-minute change in his decision before it is anunced later on September 26.
Justice Ruth Ber Ginsburg
US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Ber Ginsburg passed away on September 18, 2020, due to pancreatic cancer-related complications. 87-year old Associate Justice of Supreme Court of United States died just ahe of 2020 US Polls. According to Supreme Court spokesperson, Ginsburg passed away at her home in Washington DC in presence of her family. As per international media reports, just before she took her last breath, Justice Ginsburg told her granddaughter that she wished to t be replaced until election of new president.

Justice Ginsburg, a women's rights vocate, believed that women belonged to places where decisions are me. Speaking about abortion rights during an interview with New York Times, she once said that ' government has business making that choice for a woman'. Ginsburg was kwn to be a feminist icon and strongly opposed -based discrimination; and her decisions reflected her opinion. She was 4th oldest Justice to serve United States Supreme Court.
