Trump 'not concerned' as coronavirus cases rise in DC area
Cases of coronavirus touching on the Washington, D.C., area arose Saturday, but President Donald Trump said he wasn’t concerned that the virus was getting closer to the nation’s capital and the White House.

Maryland officials warned Saturday that a person who attended recent Conservative Political Action Conference in suburb of Oxon Hill h tested positive for virus. Both Trump and Vice President Mike Pence spoke at conference, but White House said re was indication that eir was in close proximity to infected attendee.

Asked if he was concerned about virus getting closer, Trump said: “, I’m t concerned at all. , I’m t. We’ve done a great job.” When asked wher he would continue campaign rallies in light of CPAC case, president replied, “We’ll have tremendous rallies.”
Trump waved off or questions to join a dinner for president of Brazil, who was visiting Trump in south Florida.

A Marine at Virginia’s Fort Belvoir became first military case of coronavirus reported inside U.S., a Pentagon official said on background prior to anuncement.
