President Donald Trump on Friday was escaping chill of Washington and his impeachment to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s in sunny Florida with family and friends. One thing he isn’t celebrating is delay in his Senate impeachment trial. It’s got him “m as hell,” according to one ally.

Senate journed until January with Senate Majority Leer Mitch McConnell and Democratic leer Chuck Schumer unable to agree on trial procedure. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said she wants to kw how trial will be handled before she sends two House-passed articles of impeachment against Trump to Senate.

Trump, who was due to arrive at his private Palm Beach resort late Friday, has been looking forward to a trial in friendlier Republican-controlled Senate and is riled up about delay, according to Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., who is close to president.

“He’s m as hell that y would do this to him and w deny him his day in court,” Graham told Fox News Channel after meeting with Trump at White House on Thursday night.

A likely avenue for Trump to vent his frustration over being impeached — though he has said he doesn’t feel like he has been — will be his scheduled dress Saturday to conservative student activists attending Turning Point USA conference in West Palm Beach.

House voted Wednesday to impeach Trump for withholding military aid while pressuring Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, who served on board of a gas company re while elder Biden was vice president.
