US and China have been locked in an escalating tre spat since early 2018, raising import tariffs on each or's goods. US President Trump has imposed tariff hikes of up to 25 percent on USD 250 billion of Chinese goods. move prompted China to increase tariffs on USD 110 billion of US goods.

And if it's after election, it'll be a deal like you've never seen, it'll be greatest deal ever and China kws that. y think I'm going to win," Trump told reporters abro Air Force One. Trump said China thinks he was going to win elections and are concerned about it. "y are concerned because I told m, if it's after election, it's going to be far worse than what it is right w. I told m that. Would y like to see somebody else win? Absolutely," said US President. "It'll be greatest deal ever me and China kws that," he asserted.

In retaliation, China anunced plans to impose new tariffs of 25 percent worth USD 50 billion on 106 American products including items like soybeans which could hurt American farmers. two countries have t yet implemented ir tariff increase.
