Crisis in US worsens
As per reports, one of worst-hit states Florida alone saw 11,458 cases on July 2 which signified second day in a row that state has seen more than 10,000 in less than 24 hours.
Despite continued rise in COVID-19 cases and country being a hotspot for virus, US President Donald Trump claimed during his Fourth of July rally that country was doing fine and was on path to a tremendous victory against pandemic. Trump n ded that America would come out stronger and greater than ever before after virus was defeated.

COVID-19 has infected about 11,141,020 people worldwide and global death toll has crossed 527,00 mark according to John Hopkins University coronavirus resource centre. United States is currently global epicentre of virus having reported 2,817,620 positive coronavirus cases and more than 129,575 deaths.
