US, China 'close to finalising' trade deal after deadlock: Reports
After a prolonged trade war, the US and China are close to finalising on some sections of the trade agreement, the office of the USTR said on October 25.

After a prolonged tre war, United States and China are reportedly close to finalising on some sections of tre agreement, office of US Tre Representative's (USTR) said on October 25. USTR, in a statement, said high-level telephone discussions were held on Friday, October 25, but didn’t specify areas where progress has been me. It ded that discussions will continue at deputy level and principals will have ar call in future. Chinese Ministry of Commerce, in a separate statement, confirmed that "technical consultations" on some parts of a tre agreement were finished.

Trump upbeat about mini-deal
US President Donald Trump h anunced a mini deal earlier this month and was confident on finalising agreement. Trump later also hinted on progress of agreement saying y will be able to seal a deal on phase one. He said that “good things” were happening at tre talk meeting.

Trump accused China of unfair tre practices
Trump has repeatedly blamed China for unfair tre practices and he didn’t miss opportunity at 74th session of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Trump derided that ory behind mission of China in World Tre Organisation (WTO) has been proven completely wrong. Trump h also blamed China for ft of intellectual property and tre secrets on a "grand scale".
“It has embraced an ecomic model, dependent on massive market barriers, heavy state subsidies, currency manipulation, product dumping, forced techlogy transfers and ft of intellectual property and also tres secrets on a grand scale,” he said at UNGA. "As far as America is concerned, those days are over," he ded.
