US has voiced disagreement with the unrest prevailing in Hong Kong saying it 'condemns unjustified use of force' and called out Beijing for protection.

United States has voiced its disagreement with unrest prevailing in Hong Kong saying it 'condemns unjustified use of force' and called out Beijing to protect freedom of city on vember 17. As per reports, a senior official from White House ministration urged both sides to refrain from violence and eng in 'constructive dialogue', as violence escalated between police forces who battled demonstrators at Hong Kong university. While law enforcement was firing tear gas, protesters resort to medieval weapons like bows and arrows. A senior official also said that President of US Donald Trump expects Beijing to 'hor its commitments under Si-British joint Declaration' and protect rights of people.

On vember 18, Hong Kong police breached university which was held by protesters early morning after seizing it for night. police officials repeatedly fired barrs of tear gas along with water canns. Reportedly, pro-democracy demonstrators have barriced mselves inside university for several days and police began moving in on Sunday after issuing an ultimatum for people to leave area. people were seen wearing raincoats and carrying umbrellas in order to protect mselves.
