US Election 2020: Trump holds first public event at White House since COVID-19 diagnosis

US President Donald Trump hosted his first public event at the White House since being diagnosed with COVID-19 on October 10 and said he was "feeling great".

US President Donald Trump hosted his first public event at White House since being diagsed with COVID-19 on October 10. dressing a large crowd, US President said that he was “feeling great”. Trump h tested positive for infection on October 2, however, White House has t provided any official update on his COVID-19 negative status.

White House garing was partly organised by a foundation called "Blexit", which aims to get Black and Lati voters to support Republican party, as per reports. Although, event was touted as a “peaceful protest”, critics have said that it looked more like a campaign rally.

Meanwhile, leaving stone unturned to allure voters, 74-year-old Republican leer lambasted his electoral opponent Joe Biden and called his programme "beyond socialism - Communist, that's about right".  He also talked about or important issues including racism and Mexico border wall. dressing Black community, Trump once again reiterated his claim that he h done more for m than any president since Abraham Lincoln.

Trumps test COVID-19 positive

United States President Donald Trump and First Ly Melania Trump tested positive for COVID-19 last week after one of president's close aides got infected with virus. This situation came with barely a month to go for US Presidential Election which is due to take place on vember 3.

Taking to Twitter, Trump h said that he will begin his quarantine and recovery process immediately with his wife. "We will get through this TOGER!," Trump h said. On second day of his testing positive, Trump was flown to Walter Reed Military Hospital. US President returned to White House after three days of hospital stay and has started resuming his campaign work.
