US House to vote on resolution limiting Trump's actions on Iran: Pelosi
US House Speaker said that House will introduce and vote on a War Powers Resolution to limit the military actions by US President Donald Trump on Iran.

United States House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on January 5 that House will introduce and vote on a War Powers Resolution to limit military actions by US President Donald Trump on Iran. This move comes in wake of dramatic escalation between US-Iran tensions after Trump directed air-raid killed Iran's Revolutionary Guard Commander Qassem Soleimani along with or military personnel on January 3. airstrike according to Pelosi was without an Authorisation for use of military force against Iran and was taken in absence of consultation of Congress.
According to official website, “This week, House will introduce and vote on a War Powers Resolution to limit President’s military actions regarding Iran. This resolution is similar to resolution introduced by Senator Tim Kaine in Senate. It reasserts Congress’s long-established oversight responsibilities by mandating that if furr Congressional action is taken, ministration’s military hostilities with regard to Iran cease within 30 days.”

Criticism against Trump ministration
wild move by Trump has t only generated threats of retaliation from Iran, but top US officials have also criticised his 'unprecedented move'. In immediate statement after airstrike, Pelosi h said that even though highest priority of American leers is to protect lives and interests of Americans, 'provocative and disproportionate actions' can put lives of American service members at risk.

Pelosi said, “Tonight’s airstrike risks provoking furr dangerous escalation of violence. America – and world – cant afford to have tensions escalate to point of return.”

former Vice President of US and 2020 Presidential candidate, Joe Biden called tensions as 'crisis of Trump's own making'. Biden furr called US President as 'erratic and incompetent'. Biden feels that Soleimani 'deserved' to be brought to justice for his crimes against American troops. However, having said that he also called it a 'hugely escalatory move' in an 'alrey dangerous region'. While leing current field polls, Biden believes that Trump 'tossed a stick of dynamite into a tinderbox' and he owes an explanation to American people because 'Iran will surely respond'.
Just two days after Soleimani was killed by US, Iran officially anunced on January 5 its exit from 2015 Nuclear Accord. Nuclear deal was signed by Tehran with P5+1 nations during leership of former US President Barack Obama. However, Iran's breaching of deal comes at time when Iran has indicated towards 'harsh retaliation' against US as a response to Washington's unprecedented airstrike.
