US President Donald Trump faces backlash for posing with El Paso orphan

A picture of United States President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump has caused a wide outrage after they posed with a baby who was orphaned after the El Paso mass-shooting. The picture was uploaded by Melania Trump on August 8.

A picture of United States President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump has caused a wide outrage after they posed with a baby who was orphaned after the El Paso mass-shooting. The picture was uploaded by Melania Trump on August 8. 

The First Lady took to Twitter and posted pictures from a visit to Dayton and El Paso where she and Trump met the victims of the shootings. During their interaction with the victims, the couple posed with a two-month-old baby who lost both parents in the massacre. Trump was seen smiling and posing with a 'thumbs up' gesture. Ever since he has faced severe backlash from the people. Here's the first lady's Twitter post:

Following Melania Trump's Twitter post, American actor Morgan Freeman was among the first who spoke against the president. Here's Freeman's post where he slammed the Trump:

The Walmart massacre in El Paso claimed 22 lives and left more than 25 people injured. According to reports, Paul, the baby lost both of his parents Andre and Jordan Anchondo in the attack. However, despite two deadly shootings at its stores, American retail giant Walmart has no plans to stop selling guns and ammunition, a spokesman said on August 4.
