lawless state of sourn Mexico border is a threat to safety, security and financial well-being of all Americans, he said.
"This (moral duty) includes our obligation to millions of immigrants living here today, who followed rules and respected our laws. Legal immigrants enrich our nation and strengn our society in countless ways. I want people to come into our country, but y have to come in legally," said US President in his dress to a joint session of US Congress.

Asking Congress to defend very dangerous sourn border, Trump said issue better illustrates divide between America's working class and America's political class than illegal immigration.
He said that wealthy politicians and dors push for open borders while living ir lives behind walls and gates and guards. Meanwhile, working class Americans are left to pay price for mass illegal migration -- reduced jobs, lower ws, overburdened schools and hospitals, increased crime, and a depleted social safety net, he told members of US Congress.
"Tolerance for illegal immigration is t compassionate -- it is cruel. One in three women is sexually assaulted on long journey rth. Smugglers use migrant children as human pawns to exploit our laws and gain access to our country," he said.
Urging Republicans and Democrats to join forces again to confront an urgent national crisis, Trump said US Congress has 10 days left to pass a bill that will fund government, protect homeland and secure sourn border.
"w is time for Congress to show world that America is committed to ending illegal immigration and putting ruthless coyotes, cartels, drug dealers and human traffickers out of business," he said, ding that large, organised caravans are on march to United States.
"We have just heard that Mexican cities, in order to remove illegal immigrants from ir communities, are getting trucks and buses to bring m up to our country in areas where re is little border protection. I have ordered ar 3,750 troops to our sourn border to prepare for tremendous onslaught," he said.
This is a moral issue, Trump asserted and indicated that he will t back down from issue which he believes is necessary for safety and security of country.
Human traffickers and sex traffickers take vant of wide open areas between ports of entry to smuggle thousands of young girls and women into United States and to sell m into prostitution and modern-day slavery, he alleged.
Tens of thousands of incent Americans are killed by lethal drugs that cross US border and flood into cities -- including meth, heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl, Trump ded.
