Major takeaways from intense 90-minute long vice-presidential debate that ended with more decorum than what viewers witnessed during the Trump-Biden debate.

With Democrat leer Kalama Harris patiently asking for her turn to her rival Mike Pence more or less hering to time-limit as per question, Moderator Susan P mand to ask all relevant questions to presidential deputies that would end up defining election results.
Starting from staple subjects like COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, jobs and ecomic growth to more ragging ones like Trump’s tax mystery, future of US-China relationship, and racial injustice, both US Vice President minee attempted to make ir case strong.

COVID-19 pandemic
With two minutes to respond, as expected, COVID-19 pandemic was opening question for both Harris and Pence. California Senator called it “greatest failure” and said that both Trump and Pence were informed about nature of pandemic from January 28. Harris deunced Trump ministration's response to pandemic stating that more than 210,000 Americans have lost ir lives, but Pence lauded same and condemned Biden-Harris approach that according to him “looks plagiarised”.
Racial injustice
Touching upon all defining topics of US Election 2020, Susan P, moderator, brought up subject of racial justice in United States. When asked if Breonna Taylor, medical worker who was shot and killed by Louisville police officers in March, got justice, Harris replied with a firm ''. California said that Black woman was killed “unjustifiably, tragically, violently". Pence deflected on answering question of 'Justice for Breonna' and backed law enforcement.

US-China tre war
On subject of US-China relationship, Harris said that Trump has "weird" obsession with China and started greatest tre war in world which she believes United States has "clearly" lost. However, Pence rebutted saying “Lost tre war with China? Joe Biden never fought it."
US Vice President said Biden has been a “cheerleer for communist China” and that Asian country should be blamed for COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, Harris said US-China war resulted in loss of American lives, American jobs, and America's standing in world.

Supreme Court mination row
At one instance, candidates were asked ‘If Roe v We, Supreme Court decision that legalised abortion across US in 1973, is to be lifted, and states are given right to decide wher or t to allow it re, would Pence support abortion access in his home state of Indiana?’. However, without answering question, US Vice President said that Trump ministration could t be more enthusiastic to minate Amy Coney Barrett who is supported by far-right and pro-life side.
Without deflecting, Harris answered same question with “I will always fight for women to make her own decision about her own body" and dressing matter of vacant seat at US Supreme Court following death of Justice Ruth Ber Ginsburg, California Senator said that “let American people fill White House, and we will fill that Supreme Court seat".

Climate crisis
moderator even brought up US' withdrawal from 2015 Paris climate accord, Pence said that he is proud of Trump ministration’s record on climate change as well as conservation and ted that American air-land-water resources are cleanest as ever. While Pence defended Trump's “commitment” to conservation, Harris said that Biden ministration will take United States back to Paris Climate Accord. That, according to Pence will hurt US ecomy.
