US to not spare China, says 'will make sure countries know Covid originated in Wuhan'

Blaming China yet again for outbreak of global Coronavirus pandemic, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, on Friday said that United States is working with or countries to make sure y understand that coronavirus originated in Wuhan, China.

Stressing that burden is on Beijing to explain where virus came from, Pompeo told in an interview that China knew about virus by December 2019 and even after tifying World Health Organisation (WHO), it did t share complete share all of information.

"We need to hold accountable parties responsible for deaths here in United States and ermous ecomic costs that have been posed on US," he said. "Diplomatically, we're reaching out to countries all across world to help m do right thing, to help ir ecomies get started back up, to make sure that when time is right we can get international travel kicked back up so that global commerce can recommence, he ded.

He went on to say that China failed to comply with  international health regulations of WHO. "China failed to comply with most fundamental and international health regulations of WHO and did a lot of things and we can talk about m at great length to cover that up."

Pompeo alleged that World Health Organization failed in its mission to protect world from pandemic.  

He assured that US is t going to let same thing happen again. "We're going to set up something, a system, which delivers an outcome which reduces risk that anything like this can ever happen again, from China or from anyplace else," he said.

Trump halts WHO funding

US president Donald Trump last week halted US funding to UN body after alleging mismanaging coronavirus crisis. Trump has blamed WHO's "very much sided" approach to China on coronavirus crisis, asserting that many people are unhappy with global health ncy and feel that "it's been very unfair". Trump said: "Today I am instructing my ministration to halt funding of WHO while review is conducted is assessing WHO's role in severely mismanaging and covering up spre of Coronavirus.

In an obvious reference to China, he said: "Everybody kws what's going on re." American taxpayer provides about 400 million to 500 million dollars per year to WHO in contrast China contributes only 40 million dollars or less. As highest contributor, it is our duty to insist on full accountability."
