In an unusual instance, one snake attempted to eat itself in order to curb its hunger. shocking incident was captured by Jesse Rothacker, a worker at Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary in Pennsylvania. visuals show a Kingsnake who has swallowed almost half of its body. ghastly video shows Kingsnake which h alrey swallowed itself. Moreover, when Rothacker intervened to rescue snake, it refuses to let go and constantly resisted any attempts by Rothacker. Rothacker initially started rescue by tapping on its se, a technique which creates a disturbance while snake is preying on its food. Throughout video, Rothacker explained and gave brief information about snake and stated reasons for its actions. It appeared that snake took se steps because of its hunger.

According to Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary, serpent took himself for a different snake. It happens often when snake attacks and preys on or species.
