White House communications director downplays release claiming pandemic has ended
White House communications director Alyssa Farah downplayed a press release that was issued by the administration saying that the COVID-19 pandemic has ended.

United States President Donald Trump's communications director Alyssa Farah on Wednesday, October 28 downplayed a press release that was issued by ministration saying that COVID-19 pandemic has ended. Farah, while speaking to Fox News, said release was "poorly worded" as intent was to deliver a mess that goal is to end pandemic, ding situation is improving because of president's leership.

White House Office of Science and Techlogy Policy on Tuesday, October 27 released a press statement saying that pandemic has ended, which garnered a lot of flak from critics because of kind of situation America is currently in. country under Donald Trump's watch became worst affected in world with more than 8 million confirmed cases and over 2,00,000 deaths so far.

Farah, while speaking to CNN, said that intention of press release was to commend frontline medical workers and scientists who are working since day one of pandemic. She said that United States has passed critical point in ongoing fight against virus and is currently at best point to treat disease, insisting that it will be handed a defeat when country gets a vaccine by end of this year.

White House claims COVID-19 ended
White House Office of Science and Techlogy Policy's press released titled "Trump ministration releases science and techlogy accomplishments from first term" highlighted ending COVID-19 pandemic as one of Trump ministration's achievement when in reality country remains worst-performing nation in terms of cases and deaths, which still rising at unprecedented levels.
"From outset of COVID-19 pandemic, ministration has taken decisive actions to eng scientists and health professionals in acemia, industry, and government to understand, treat, and defeat disease," press release said. However, critics argue that ministration has done quite opposite of what it claimed in release with President Trump at forefront of shredding every piece of science-based evidence and attacking his own government's scientists, including US CDC chief Dr. Anthony Fauci for doing ir job and performing ir duty event if it meant going against ir leer's words.
