Trump vs Twitter: White House hits back, calls out Khamenei tweet 'glorifying violence'
The White House slammed Twitter for letting "terrorists" and "dictators" abuse the platform after the firm blocked Trump’s tweet for “glorifying violence".

White House slammed Twitter for letting "terrorists" and "dictators" abuse social media platform after company put a tice on US President Donald Trump’s tweet for “glorifying violence”. White House, through its official Twitter handle, shared a tweet by Iranian Supreme Leer Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in which he h said that person killed in “jih” will receive “one of two excellent things”. White House said that tweet violated rules against glorification of violence but Twitter didn’t flag it.
'Shooting starts'
Earlier, Trump h tweeted on ongoing protests in Minneapolis related to death of a black man, George Floyd, who died after a white police officer kept pressing his knee against victim's neck. US President said that he has talked to Minnesota Goverr Tim Walz and military will take control in case of any difficulty, threatening that “shooting” will start if anyone tries to loot public property.

Twitter immediately flagged tweet for violating rules of micro-blogging platform about glorifying violence and said that it has taken action in interest of preventing ors from being inspired to commit violent acts. However, it decided t to remove tweet saying it is important that public still be able to see Tweet given its relevance to ongoing matters of public importance.
US President has accused Twitter, which has alrey banned political s, of meddling in presidential polls and said that micro-blogging site is doing “everything” in power to censor elections in vance. Trump also signed an executive order targeting social media companies after fact-check controversy.
