White House COVID-19 Task Force not disbanding, Trump says 'it will continue indefinitely'
A day after hinting at disbanding the White House Coronavirus Task Force on May 5, United States President Donald Trump said that "Task Force will continue."

A day after hinting at disbanding White House Coronavirus Task Force on May 5, United States President Donald Trump said that "Task Force will continue on indefinitely." Showering praises on team, Trump took to Twitter on May 6 to laud ir efforts and highlighted achievements accomplished by Task Force. White House Coronavirus Task Force is heed by Vice President Mike Pence.
US President hailed team for doing "a fantastic job of bringing toger vast highly complex resources that have set a high standard for ors to follow in future." Trump also mentioned that country is w capable of producing ventilators in thousands and has "many in spare". He furr ded that US is w "helping or countries which are desperate for m." "Task Force will continue on indefinitely," Trump concluded.

Looking for a different form: Trump
During a plant visit in Arizona, Trump h emphasised that ministration is w looking at a “different form”. “And that form is safety and opening. And we'll have a different group probably set up for that,” Trump ded. During tour Trump was asked why is w time to wind down task force when doctors are saying re might be a recurrence of coronavirus in fall.
"Well because we can't keep our country closed for next 5 years," he replied.
US President has been pressing need to reopen ecomy while infections continue to increase. During his visit to mask facility, Trump h even mitted that "some people will be affected bly" by decision but he asserted that "it's time to open America."
