The Foreign Ministers of the Visegrad Group (V4) gathered in Budapest on Tuesday and held talks with their Turkish counterpart, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
Hungary currently holds the presidency of V4 until 2022 and ministers discussed the issue of migration in Europe and relations with the Taliban.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto urged the European Union to pay six billion Euros (6.8 billion US dollars) to Turkey, a sum which allegedly had been promised to the country.
Turkey's foreign ministry has said that 40 billion US dollars had been spent hosting migrants in the country.
Speaking at the meeting Çavuşoğlu, warned of further potential migration from Afghanistan, and emphasised the importance of communication with the Taliban.
Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau also spoke at the meeting, saying he hoped plans for Albania and North-Macedonia to join the European Union would be discussed soon.
The V4 was founded in February 1991 from a declaration of cooperation that then-Presidents Lech Walesa of Poland, Vaclav Havel of then-Czechoslovakia and Jozsef Antall of Hungary signed in Visegrad, Hungary.
