Ottawa: After a violent attack on a Hindu temple in Brampton, a video is gaining traction on social media that appears to show Canian police violently thrashing devotees protesting against Khalistani attack.

A user by name of Daniel Bordman shared clip on his social media handle, alleging that RCMP targeted Hindu worshippers punching m in he and beating m with batons.

" RCMP start attacking Hindu worshippers on ir own temple grounds in Surrey BC. Meanwhile, ar user by name Mini shared a video of Canian police arresting Hindu devotees. caption of tweet reing, “ Why are Hindus being arrested by Canian police when y are victims here!?  A Systemic discrimination against Hindus in Cana!  #Surrey #Cana”

This attack on Hindu Sabha temple has drawn strong condemnation from Canian politicians, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, opposition leer Pierre Poilievre and MPs Kevin Vuong and Chandra Arya.

Canian Leers Condemn Attack 

Canian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau strongly condemned attack on Hindu Sabha Temple, emphasised on importance of religious freedom and asserted that every citizen has a right to practice ir faith "freely and safely."

" acts of violence at Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton today are unacceptable. Every Canian has right to practice ir faith freely and safely. Thank you to Peel Regional Police for swiftly responding to protect community and investigate this incident," Trudeau said in a post on X.

Furrmore, Canian Member of Parliament Chandra Arya condemned attack in a post on X saying, "A red line has been crossed by Canian Khalistani extremists today. attack by Khalistanis on Hindu-Canian devotees inside premises of Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton shows how deep and brazen has Khalistani violent extremism has become in Cana. I begin to feel that re is a small grain of truth in reports that in dition to Canian political apparatus, Khalistanis have effectively infiltrated into our law enforcement ncies."

“ wonder that under 'freedom of expression' Khalistani extremists are getting a free pass in Cana. As I have been saying for long, Hindu-Canians, for security and safety of our community, need to step up and assert ir rights and hold politicians accountable,” he furr said in post.

Indian High Commission in Cana Condemns 'Violent Disruption' Outside Consular Camp

Indian High Commission in Cana strongly condemned attack outside consular camp saying, "It is deeply disappointing to see such disruptions being allowed for routine consular work" and raised concerns over safety of Indian nationals in country.

Indian High Commission in press release expressed disappointment saying, “It is deeply disappointing to see such disruptions being allowed for routine consular work being organized by our Consulates with fullest cooperation of local co-organizers.”

It furr raised concerns for " safety of applicants, including Indian nationals, on whose demand such events are organized in first place."

"In light of se incidents, and with continued threats posed to Indian diplomats & officials, local venue organizers as well as local attendees, organization of furr scheduled consular camps will be contingent on security arrangements me for m by local authorities. In case any camp is infeasible to be held due to such disruptions, alternative arrangements will be me to render those services, which may unfortunately inconvenience local users of se services.
