Vietnam's Health Ministry said on Friday a Chinese father and son have tested positive for a deadly new virus, marking the first cases in Vietnam.

ministry posted on its website on Thursday that Li Ding, 66, from Wuhan, China, arrived in Hai on January 13 before travelling south to Nha Trang, where he was joined by his 28-year-old son Li Zichao, who works in Vietnam.
