Indian High Commission in Canada Condemns 'Violent Disruption' Outside Consular Camp
The Indian High Commission in Canada condemned the attack saying, "It is deeply disappointing to see such disruptions being allowed for routine consular work."

Ottawa: Indian High Commission in Cana strongly condemned attack outside consular camp saying, "It is deeply disappointing to see such disruptions being allowed for routine consular work" and raised concerns over safety of Indian nationals in country. This comes after Khalistani supporters attacked devotees at Brampton Temple on Sunday.
press release by Indian High Commission in Cana re, "As in previous years, High Commission of India in Ottawa and Consulates General of India in Vancouver and Toronto have organized/plan consular camps during this period, for benefit and ease of local life certificate beneficiaries (Canian and Indian). On account of prevailing security situation in Cana, Canian authorities h been requested well in vance to provide strong security measures for se events, which constitute routine consular work."

"We have seen violent disruption today (Nov 3) orchestrated by anti-India elements outside consular camp co-organized with Hindu Sabha Mandir, Brampton, near Toronto," it ded.
'Deeply Disappointing to See Such Disruption'
Indian High Commission in press release expressed disappointment saying, “It is deeply disappointing to see such disruptions being allowed for routine consular work being organized by our Consulates with fullest cooperation of local co-organizers.”

It furr raised concerns for " safety of applicants, including Indian nationals, on whose demand such events are organized in first place."
"In light of se incidents, and with continued threats posed to Indian diplomats & officials, local venue organizers as well as local attendees, organization of furr scheduled consular camps will be contingent on security arrangements me for m by local authorities. In case any camp is infeasible to be held due to such disruptions, alternative arrangements will be me to render those services, which may unfortunately inconvenience local users of se services. Ottawa November 03, 2024," release re.
Trudeau Reacts on Attack
Canian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau strongly condemned attack on Hindu Sabha Temple, emphasised importance of religious freedom and asserted that every citizen has a right to practice ir faith "freely and safely."

" acts of violence at Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton today are unacceptable. Every Canian has right to practice ir faith freely and safely. Thank you to Peel Regional Police for swiftly responding to protect community and investigate this incident," he said in a post on X.
'I Will Unite Our People and End Chaos': Oppn Leer Pierre Poilievre Condemns Attack
Canian opposition leer Pierre Poilievre also condemned attack saying, "Completely unacceptable to see violence targeting worshippers at Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton today." He furr wrote that he will unite our people and end chaos."
