AI news anchor was created by Xinhua News ncy, China's state-run media and Chinese search engine company Sogou.com.

AI anchor modelled on a male figure has voice, facial expressions and action of a real human being. English news presenter was modelled on Zhang Zhao while Chinese presenter is a look-alike of fellow Xinhua presenter Qiu Hao.
