Indian stand-up comedian, script writer, performer, producer and co-founder of the creative agency All India Bakchod, Tanmay Bhat took to his Instagram handle addressing the #MeToo controversy and what he is going through since October in a series of four videos.
He captioned it: "I'm a bit of a mess. I don't know when I'll stop being a bit of a mess. But when I'm less of a mess, I will owe it to everybody who has written in being supportive. Especially those who've seen this mess up close. You know who you are."

He started by saying that he wants to put it 'out there' and addressed questions like 'why is he not posting anything on social media'.
"After everything that happened in October, I was mentally checked-out and and I feel almost paralysed and unable to participate socially online and offline."

For most of my adult life, I worked for the company that I was trying to build. Having to say goodbye took a toll on me mentally. The doctors told me that I was diagnosed with clinical depression last year. They have asked me to start the medication.
I sometimes get worried that this state of paralysis is permanent. I sometimes think that I might not get back to being who I was.

Comedy group AIB announced Gursimran Khamba will no longer be involved with the company and Tanmay Bhat will step down from the post of CEO. Last year, Khamba and Bhat, the co-founders of the comedy quartet, distanced themselves from the comedy group, which is battling allegations of sexual harassment against its members.
While Bhat was under attack for his inaction in the complaints against writer-comedian Utsav Chakraborty, Khamba had been directly accused of sexual misconduct.
In a statement shared on its official Twitter account, the company also said the AIB YouTube channel is "dead for the foreseeable future".
AIB said there has been an Internal Committee and anti-harassment system in place from the start. But the culture at work may not have been perfect which needs to be improved, the statement added.
