"We all have a part to play": WHO chief lauds healthcare workers' dedication & sacrifice

World Health Organisation Director-General Dr. Tedros ham Ghebreyesus on Sunday paid his tributes and expressed solidarity with healthcare workers. WHO chief commended health workers battling coronavirus crisis from frontline.

Taking to Twitter, Tedros while expressing his miration stated that workers' sacrifice should be an example for everyone to play a role during COVID-19 pandemic. He furr ded that fight against a coronavirus should be a collective effort for everyone.

Earlier on World Health Day, UK's Queen Elizabeth too extended a mess of gratitude to all health care workers across  world,  frontline fighters of coronavirus outbreak. In official statement, 93-year-old monarch t only lauded medical practitioners for ir “selfless commitment” but also credited m of protecting and improving health of people around world.
