Glenlivet launches edible whisky capsules that look like Tide Pods

Whiskey brand The Glenlivet launched small alcohol pods that come in transparent edible packs which gave birth to many memes and reactions on social media.

Scottish distillery Glenlivet launched a ‘Capsule Collection’ of cocktails that come in transparent edible packs. se alcoholic pods can be popped in which is unlikely for a drink that is sipped. capsules have Scotch whisky in m and it breaks tritional style of having drink in glasses. company that was founded in 19th century uploed a 53-second video on Youtube unveiling walnut-size pouches filled with alcohol. video says that edible cocktail capsules me from seaweed require need for a glass, ice or a cocktail stirrer. Glenlivet partnered with packaging company otka and cocktail legend Alex Kratena of London bar Tayēr to create ir latest product.

re were several mixed reactions to post which shows display of new product. A user wrote her concern on product stating since capsules are of 23 ml each, people do t have any options apart from having all of it at a time inste of having it slowly.
