Former National Security ncy contractor of United States Edward Swden is reaching out to President of France, Emmanuel Macron to grant him asylum. Swden, currently living in Russia h 'leaked' classified documents that disclosed government's secret surveilling programs in June 2013. Reportedly, 29-year old downloed up to 1.5 million files before leaving US to flying to Hong Kong. Edward hasn't gone back to his home since n. Does France support?

Reportedly French Justice Minister, Nicole Belloubet said that she supported Swden's demand for granting asylum in country. However, she also me it clear that she me that statement in a personal capacity and it can t be considered as an official offer. Swden mentioned in an interview that he h applied for asylum in France in 2013 as well under former French President, Hollande Francois and he would love to get an invitation from France under present leer. He also said that it's t about country that provides asylum, it's about world and system that world has. Swden also mentions that protecting whistleblowers shall t be considered as a hostile act. Evidently Edward furr says if a country welcomes him, it is t an attack on United States.

Since 2013,  former National Security ncy contractor has been living in Russia as United States officials want to present him to stand trial for infiltration of information. Edward Swden has been private about his life, but he will publish his memoir called 'Permanent Record' on September 17. It will be released in nearly 20 countries, including France. memoir is considered to have ditional information about his journey of revealing secret surveillance programs by intelligence ncies in United States.
