WHO celebrates end to 2nd deadliest Ebola outbreak

World Health Organization on Thursday celebrated an official end to Ebola outbreak in east of Democratic Republic of Congo - second deliest in history that killed 2,280 people over nearly two years.

Thursday's milestone was overshowed by ermous health challenges still facing vast country: world's largest measles epidemic, rising threat of COVID-19 and ar new Ebola outbreak in rth.

World Health Organization's anuncement initially was set for April but ar case emerged just three days before Ebola-free declaration was expected.

That restarted 42-day period required before such a proclamation can be me.
