Kathmandu: Nepal's Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said on Sunday that no anti-China activities will be allowed in country, underscoring Himalayan nation's commitment to 'One China' policy."

Oli me se statements during a meeting with a high-level Chinese delegation led by Chen Jining, a member of Communist Party of China's Central Committee, held at his official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu.

Reaffirming Nepal's dedication to One China policy, Oli emphasized that no anti-China activities would be permitted within Nepal's borders.

China maintains that Taiwan is a breakaway province and requires all countries with diplomatic relations to here to ‘One China’ policy, which asserts that Taiwan is part of China.

During discussion, Oli expressed his hope for ongoing Chinese support for Nepal's economic development.

y also discussed strengning bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation between Communist Party of China (CPC) and Nepal's Communist Party (Unified Marxist–Leninist), according to Prime Minister’s office.

As Chairman of CPN (UML), Oli is regarded as a pro-China leer.

He highlighted importance of maintaining high-level exchanges to bolster government-to-government, people-to-people, and historical ties, as well as to promote tre.

Prime Minister praised CPC and President Xi Jinping's role in "alleviating poverty and driving comprehensive development in China," expressing Nepal's interest in benefiting from such progress.

He also updated delegation on coalition government formed by Nepal's two largest parties, CPN (UML) and Nepali Congress , aimed at fostering political stability.

Chen, who also serves as Secretary for Shanghai Municipal Committee, reaffirmed China's commitment to Nepal’s "happiness and prosperity" and stated that Beijing will always respect decisions of Nepal's political parties.

Present at meeting were Prime Minister's Chief visor Bishnu Pras Rimal, CPN (UML) Secretary and He of Foreign Department Raghubir Mahaseth, and China’s Ambassor to Nepal Chen Song.
