World boxing champion Errol Spence in ICU after accident in Dallas
World boxing champion, Errol Spence Jr, is currently in the intensive care unit as he was recently involved in a car accident in the US city of Dallas

Undefeated welterweight world Boxing champion, Errol Spence Jr, is currently in the intensive care unit. The boxer was recently involved in a car accident that had him flip his Ferrari a couple of times on the 500 block S Riverfront in Dallas. According to a statement by the concerned police department, Errol was driving at a very high speed without having his seat belt on and that caused him to eject from his seat during the accident.
The accident
The cops further added that the boxer sustained serious injuries but will get through. In addition to this, the cops stated that Spence lost control of his white Ferrari as the car swerved towards the opposite lane and rolled over a couple of times. A representative of the company managing Spence stated that the injuries sustained do not pose any threat to the boxer's life and that he has the full support of family and friends.

British boxer, Kell Brook, also posted a tweet, wishing the American to a swift recovery.

Fellow American Boxer, Shawn Porter, also gave his best wishes to Spence and his family.
Another Boxer, Terrence Crawford, also sent his best wishes.

Errol Spence Jr represented the US in 2012 Olympics and is considered one of the pound to pound (ranking system used in combat sports) boxers of modern times. He further improved his boxing record to a 26-0 by beating Shawn Porter in WBC sanctioned match in the city of Los Angeles.
