World's biggest Burmese python lives inside 3-bed house in UK

World's Biggest Burmese python lives with a United Kingdom native, Marcus Hobbs. The 31-year-old father of two children bought an eight-inch snake home eight years ago, however, now the python named 'Hexxie' is over 18 feet long and weighs 110 kilograms. The animal is expensive and can be lethal if mishandled. Hobbs feeds Hexxie with rabbits, stillborn deer, calves, goats, and pigs which are supplied by local farmers. The IT worker believes that the reptile which can squeeze any human in a few minutes, will not hurt him.

Hexxie is 18 feet

The world's largest python registered was 18'8 inches, however, Hobbs is adamant that his Hexxie is longer than that as the last time he measured Hexxie, it was more than 18 feet and will keep making measurements until she stops growing. Reportedly Hobbs also said that he himself knew that Hexxie would grow big but her growth has shocked everyone else. The IT worker also confesses that he is 'very passionate' about snakes and also tries to make people understand about the animal by talking to them 'all day long' about snakes. Hobbs admitted that Hexxie has never attacked him, except once when he was applying iodine on her skin.

Will not let it get to 'that' stage

The 31-year-old reportedly explained that Hexxie gives out foul smell and loud hissing noises as a warning to leave her alone if she feels tresses or unhappy, but Hobbs believes that he will not let it get to 'that' stage. Inspired by Steve Irwin, Hobbs had his first snake for his 13th birthday which is a smaller snake named Monty. Along with the two snakes, he also has a husky. Hobbs even used to put his animals alongside him in bed when the power cuts took place when he was a child in order to keep them warm. Hobbs' wife, Amy understands her partner's love for reptiles, however, the main issue still remains that they take up 'too much space'.
