Mahindra Thar Roxx, XUV 3XO And XUV 400 EV Scores 5-Star Bharat NCAP Safety Rating

Mahindra SUVs crash test: Mahindra Thar Roxx, XUV 3XO, and XUV 400 EV scores five-star safety rating in the adult occupants crash test safety rating in the Bharat NCAP crash test safety rating. All three SUVs scored five-star safety ratings in the adult and child occupants crash tests. Mahindra Thar Roxx scored 31.09 points in the adult occupancy and 45 points for child safety. The XUV 3XO scored 29.36 points for adult occupancy and 43 points for child occupancy, and the XUV 400 EV scored 30.38 points for adult occupancy and 43 points for child occupancy. The regular Mahindra Thar three-door version scored four-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test. 

Mahindra Thar Roxx

The agency crash-tested the Mahindra Thar Roxx variants: the MX3 and the AX5L. The AX5L variant is only available with the automatic transmission in the petrol and diesel engine, with both 4x4 and rear-wheel drive options. The MX3 variant is available in petrol and diesel variants, with both types of transmission options.  The price of the Mahindra Thar Roxx starts at Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base petrol variant and Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base diesel variant. 

Mahindra XUV 3XO

The agency crash-tested the Mahindra XUV 3XO variants: the MX2 and the AX7L. The AX7L variant is available with both diesel engine and petrol gasoline and petrol mPFI engine. The MX2 variant is available only in the diesel and the petrol mPFI engine. The price of the Mahindra XUV 3XO starts at Rs 7.79 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base petrol variant and Rs 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base diesel variant. 

Mahindra XUV 400 EV

The agency crash-tested the Mahindra XUV 400 EV variants: EC L, EL LH(O). The price of the XUV 400 EV starts at Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base EC variant and Rs 16.74 lakh (ex-showroom) for the EL Pro variant.
