In the 21st century, advertisements are ruling  the roost, from the moment you pick up your phone to consume online content or on the road you take to head to your office. While corporations hardly leave consumers alone during their product launches or social responsibility initiatives, there are only a few which capture the essence of their offering, and create an everlasting bond with their target audience.

Here's a look at 5 head-turner corporate ads of 2023:

Fevicol

In India, nothing gets consumers focused than the pun-infused family sarcasm prevalent in almost all households. From relatable relationship jokes to the ones involving close relatives, it works. Fevicol hit that sweet spot of advertising within a 45 second display of an hilarious conversation between two brother-in-laws that manages to display the adhesive power of Fevicol.

The ad popularly known as the 'Jija-Sala' Fevicol advertisement has generated 42 million views on Youtube.

Apple India

While Apple India's YouTube channel has 12 million subscribers, their advertisement introducing their first-ever 15 inch MacBook product generated 21 million views. Apple, usually known to have a minimalistic approach in highlighting new launches, took the same road, and mentioned, "Dream Big" multiple times throughout the ad. This has always worked with their target audience who like it clean, simple, and impactful.

Mc Donald's India

Mc Donald's India, a fast-food chain brand, utilised the 'The Bollywood Effect' this year and once again it worked wonders for the company, as it gained 17 million in views on YouTube, since it went public on August 22. The ad focuses  on the comradery between Bollywood actor, Kartik Aaryan, and his friend, who order out 'The Kartik Aaryan Meal' at a nearby McDonald's store.

Center fruit

On November 9, Centre Fruit, from the house of Perfetti Van Melle India, launched an advertisement that spotlighted its ball-shaped gums through the sheer joy of watching youngsters engage in gully cricket. During the ad, a teenager gives an interesting commentary of the matches happening in his neighbourhood, post intaking two flavours of Centre Fruit ball-shaped gums. The advertisement went on to generate 14 million views on Youtube.

Coca-Cola

The American soft-drink major launched an advertisement during the festive month of October to leverage the Durga Puja sentiment of the people residing in West Bengal.
