Birlasoft appoints Manjunath Kygonahally as CEO for rest of the world region
The listed company is part of the $2.9 billion diversified C.K. Birla Group.
Pune-headquartered IT company Birlasoft has appointed Manjunath Kygonahally as Chief Executive Officer for Rest of the World (ROW) region from today, January 2, 2024.

Based in the UK, Kygonahally would be responsible for all business and strategic growth initiatives in the ROW region, comprising of all regions outside of the Americas.
Kygonahally joins Birlasoft from Cognizant, where he was CMT Industry Head for Global Growth Markets. A seasoned services industry professional with almost three decades of experience in market strategy, business development and service delivery and operations across the United States, United Kingdom & Ireland, and Europe.

The company during its Q2 results in November announced the appointment of Selvakumaran Manappan as their Chief Operating Officer.
The company reported a 26 per cent increase in profit after tax to Rs 145 crore for the September 2023 quarter. It had reported a PAT of Rs 115 crore in the same period last year.
The revenue from operations in the quarter under review rose 9.8 per cent to Rs 1,309 crore against Rs 1,192 crore in the year-ago period.
