Indian cos ink pact with WTC Utah delegation for trade, investment and overseas education

As part of the India Trade Mission 2024, the delegation also engaged with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal.

Partnership for growth: Businesses in India signed several memorandums of understanding (MoU) with members of a WTC Utah delegation for enhancing bilateral tre between two states. 

India Tre Mission 2024, organised jointly by World Tre Center Utah (WTC Utah) and Indus International Research Foundation (IIRF) also engaged with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Prhan and Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal.

While Prhan proposed establishment of campuses by Utah State University in India, engagement with Goyal was aimed at enhancing dialogue on bilateral cooperation. 

delegation explored partnerships across New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderab, and Bengaluru, engaging micro, small, and medium Enterprises (MSMEs) apart from Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), US Commercial Service and Observer Research Foundation in Mumbai.

New-Delhi based venture capital fund Mount Tech Growth Fund - Kavachh has signed a bilateral arrangement with 47G, an Utah-based aerospace and defence association with 100 companies and 20 acemic institutions for enhancing bilateral relations in startup ecosystem.

Mount Tech Growth Fund - Kavachh also inked a pact with World Tre Center Utah for elevating investment ecosystem and relations between India and Utah.

WTC Utah also signed an MoU with MIICCIA for promoting a change in delegations, tre information and economic relations bilaterally.

Hyderab-based Super Study Abro also inked a pact with University of Utah’s Asia Campus.

Hummingbird EV, an electric vehicle business for commercial trucks also discussions with a few possible partners about producing EV vehicles in India using American technology as part of delegation.

Former Utah Governor Gary Herbert led delegation along with leership of WTC and IIRF.

"Our visit to India has been immensely fruitful, showcasing immense potential for collaboration between Utah and India across various sectors. partnerships forged during this mission lay foundation for long-term, mutually beneficial relationships," he said.

Gurupras Sowle, President and Co-Founder of IIRF Americas and International visor for India at World Tre Center Utah said interactions have opened doors for meaningful collaborations, contributing to growth and prosperity of both regions.
