Surat-based diamond merchant gifted 600 cars as Diwali bonus to employees
Savji Dholakia, who owns a diamond company with an annual turnover of over Rs 6,000 crores, gifted 600 cars to his employees during the Incentive Ceremony in Surat on Thursday
Every year on the festival of Diwali, employees anticipate fancy bonuses and gifts from their employers. However, this Gujarat diamond tycoon from Surat is breaking all barriers, with his extraordinarily lavish way of giving ‘Diwali bonus’ to his employee. Savji Dholakia, Chairman of Shri Hari Krishna Exports, is the billionaire who has changed the game by gifting opulent gifts including luxury cars and apartments to his meritorious employees.
Interestingly, this year also, Savji Dholakia, who owns a diamond company with an annual turnover of over Rs 6,000 crores, presented an array of expensive gifts to his employees as a Diwali bonus in a ceremony, in Surat on Thursday. He gifted 600 cars to his employees during the Incentive Ceremony. And, not just cars, Hari Krishna Exports also gifted fixed deposits and flats, to its employee as 2018 Diwali incentive. Furthermore, two women employee, one of them being physically handicapped, received keys to their cars from Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself, in New Delhi.
Savji Dholakia, took to Facebook to express his happiness about the Incentive Ceremony, 2018.
“As a part of the company’s loyalty bonus program, the company gave incentives to approximately 1,700 diamond artists and diamond engineers in the form of cars and fixed deposits. The aim of this program was to reward employees’ loyalty and dedication towards the company. To grace this ceremony, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendrabhai Modi handed over car keys to few of the company’s employees personally in New Delhi and gave his warm blessing to over 25,000 family members through a live video conferencing”, Chairman of Hari Krishna Exports wrote in the social media post.
Earlier in 2018, the company celebrated its 25th anniversary. During the celebrations, three employees who had been with the company for 25 years, were gifted Mercedes-Benz GLS SUVs. With the total of 5,500 employees, 4000 of them have received expensive gifts from the company as a ‘Diwali bonus’, till date.
Not just Savji Dholakia, but his son Dravya Dholakia has also grabbed headlines in earlier years. He was sent to Kerala for a month by his diamond merchant father, with three sets of clothes and a generous portion of cash to tackle the difficulties of life on his own.
