West Bengal UG Admissions 2024: Application Begins, Here's How To Register For University Admissions

The West Bengal Council of Higher Education (WBCHSE) has officially started the registration process for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2024-25. Eligible candidates can now apply through the newly launched centralized admission portal, wbcap.in. Students who have successfully passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination are eligible to apply online via this portal.
However, it is important to note that the centralized admission system does not include several institutions. These excluded institutions are: Presidency University, Jadavpur University, autonomous colleges, minority educational institutes or colleges, training colleges, law colleges, colleges or universities offering courses in fine arts, performing arts, crafts, dance, music, engineering, pharmacy, nursing, medical courses, and self-financing or private institutions.
How to Apply for West Bengal UG Admission 2024:
1. Visit the official portal at wbcap.in.
2. Click on the registration link.
3. Register by entering your mobile number and email ID.
4. After successful registration, fill out the application form.
5. Upload the necessary documents and indicate your course preferences.
6. Submit the details and save the form.
7. Print out the confirmation page for future reference.
Documents Required for WB UG Admission 2024:
Candidates will need to upload scanned copies of the following documents during the registration process:

- Class 12 registration certificate or documents showing unique ID number
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- Relevant social category certificate (if applicable)
- PWD certificate (if applicable)
- EWS certificate (if applicable)
- Photograph of the candidate
- Signature of the candidate
- Bank passbook/crossed cheque/bank statement
- Valid photo ID proof
- District/state/national/international level sports certificate (if applicable)
