The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has issued the official notification for the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2025. Eligible candidates can apply for the APSC CCE Prelims 2025 from March 28 onwards through the official website: apsc.nic.in.
The application process for the APSC Prelims will close on April 29, 2025, at 5 PM, while the deadline for fee payment is May 1, 2025, at 5 PM. The main examination will be conducted exclusively at the Guwahati Centre. However, APSC has stated that the exam date and centres may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. The exact dates for both the prelims and mains examinations will be announced later.
APSC CCE Prelims 2025: Application Fee
The application fee for general category candidates, including ex-servicemen, is Rs 297.20 (inclusive of taxes and processing fees).

For SC, ST, and BPL candidates of all categories, PwBD (including ex-servicemen from these categories), and women candidates, the fee is Rs 197.20.

APSC CCE Prelims 2025: Steps to Register
Step 1: Visit the official website at apsc.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the APSC CCE 2025 application link.
Step 3: Register with valid details and complete the application form.
Step 4: Upload the necessary documents, including educational certificates and identification proof.
Step 5: Pay the application fee according to your category.
Step 6: Submit the application and download a copy for future reference.
APSC CCE Prelims 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: The applicant must be an Indian citizen and an original inhabitant of Assam.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 38 years as of 1st January 2024. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.
Educational Qualification: A bachelor’s degree from a recognised university is required.
Language Requirement: Candidates must be proficient in Assamese, any other official language, associate official language, or any tribal language of Assam.
Employment Registration: Applicants must be registered with a district employment office in Assam.
