Board of Secondary Education is conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, CTET 2023 on August 20, 2023. The CTET admit cards have already been released on August 18. Candidates must download the same and bring its printout to the exam centre. Candidates who will appear for the exam must check important instructions and exam day guidelines carefully.
CTET exam-day guidelines and instructions
- Candidates must bring the printout of the CTET admit card.
- Along with the admit card, they must bring 2 passport-size photograph and an original ID proof like Aadhar Card, PAN Card etc.
- Candidates are advised to reach the exam venue at least 120 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam to avoid any last-minute troubles.
- Shift 1 exam will be held from 9.30 am to 12 noon. Reporting time is 7.30 am.
- Shift 2 exam will be held from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. The reporting time is 12.30 pm.
- A seat indicating roll number will be allocated to each candidate. Candidates should find and occupy their allocated seat only
- COVID-19 safety protocols will have to be followed by all CTET candidates at all times. They will have to wear masks, carry sanitizers and maintain social distancing
- Candidates should know that the use of electronic gadgets or bluetooth devices are not allowed in CTET exam.
List of items banned inside the CTET exam hall
- Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/scanner, Cardboard etc.
- Any communication devices like Mobile phones, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health band etc.
- Any Watch/Wrist watch, wallet, goggles, handbags, Gold/artificial ornaments etc.
- Any other item which could be used for unfair means and for hiding communication devices/gadgets like Camera, Bluetooth device etc.
