UGC NET 2024: City Intimation Slip For Re-Exam Likely To Be Out Today; How To Check

UGC NET 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the city intimation for the re-examination of UGC NET 2024 today. Candidates will soon be able to download their UGC-NET city slip from the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The re-examination is scheduled to take place from August 21 to September 4.

The NTA will issue exam city slips, which will inform candidates of the location of their exam centers. The city intimation slips provide details on the city where the exam will be held, while the admit cards will contain the specific name of the exam center, exam date, time, and other essential details.

The UGC NET re-test will be conducted online as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). This change comes after the UGC NET June 2024 Cycle exam, which was originally conducted in pen-and-paper mode, was canceled by the Education Ministry on June 18 following reports of a paper leak. The NTA announced that the upcoming re-exam would revert to the CBT format, in line with previous UGC NET exams for assistant professorship, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and PhD admissions.

In the June exam, the pen-and-paper exam saw an increase in application, with 11,21,225 candidates registering compared to 9,45,872 in December 2023. Despite this, the overall attendance for the June exam was around 81%, with 9,08,580 candidates appearing.

2. Open the exam city intimation slip download link for the August-September exam.
3. Enter your application number and date of birth.
4. Submit to check the exam city allotment details.
