Indian Air Force announces the IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2025, inviting applications starting from January 17 and closing on February 6, 2024. Interested candidates can access the online application process via the official website, agnipathvayu.cdac.in. The intake is for 01/2025 batch.

IAF agniveer vayu 2024 Eligibility Requirements

For candidates in Science Subjects: Successful completion of Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent exams with Mathematics, Physics, and English from recognized Education Boards. A minimum aggregate of 50% and 50% in English is necessary.

For candidates in other streams: Completion of Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent exams in any subjects from recognized Education Boards. A minimum aggregate of 50% and 50% in English is required.

Candidates' birthdates should fall between January 2, 2004, and July 2, 2007. Additionally, if a candidate successfully clears all selection stages, the maximum age limit for enrollment should not exceed 21 years.

Selection Procedure

The selection process involves Phase I and Phase II online tests. Candidates qualifying in these stages will undergo Physical Fitness and Medical tests.

Admit cards for Phase-I testing will be emailed 48-72 hrs before the exam. Download, print in color, and bring it to the exam center. City & exam date info will be shared earlier.

Provisional admit cards will be accessible via candidate login at https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in. Online test details:

  • Science Subjects: 60 mins, covering Physics, Mathematics, and English (10+2 CBSE syllabus).
  • Non-Science Subjects: 45 mins, involving English (10+2 CBSE syllabus) and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
  • Both Subjects: 85 mins, comprising Physics, Math, English (10+2 CBSE syllabus), and RAGA.
  • Marking pattern:
    • Correct answer: 1 mark
    • Unattempted: 0 marks
    • Wrong answer: Deduction of 0.25 marks

Examination Fees

To register for the online examination, candidates need to pay an examination fee of Rs. 550/- plus GST. Payment can be made online via Debit Cards, Credit Cards, or Internet Banking through the designated payment gateway.

Employability.

 Agniveervayu enrolled under this entry are liable to be assigned any duty in organisational interest at the discretion of the Indian Air Force. 15. Training. On being enrolled, Agniveervayu will be imparted military training based on Indian Air Force requirements. 

 Leave: Grant of leave will be subject to the exigencies of the Indian Air Force. The following leave is applicable for Agniveervayu during their engagement period: - (a) Annual Leave. 30 days per year. (b) Sick Leave. Based on medical advice by competent Medical Authority. 

Medical and CSD Facilities: For the duration of their engagement period in the Indian Air Force, Agniveervayu will be entitled for medical facility at Service Hospitals as well as CSD provisions.

Pay, Allowances and Allied Benefits: Agniveervayu enrolled under this Scheme will be paid an Agniveer package of Rs. 30,000/- per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, Risk and Hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF) and dress and Travel allowances will be paid. Perks such as ration, clothing, accommodation and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) shall also be provided as per the existing rules.
