Meet India's youngest engineer who finished grades 8-12 in just 9 months is now on a thrilling goal

A bright young boy who finished grades 8 through 12 in just nine months, making him the youngest engineer ever. This story of brilliance, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to academic achievement is inspirational. Nirbhay Thacker, the youngest engineering graduate from Gujarat, sticks out among the other 16-year-olds still making their way through high school hallways. 

Nirbhay Thacker: A Genius

Nirbhay showed a lot of promise when he began his fast-track education in the eighth grade. In just three months, he completed the curriculum for classes eleven through twelve, and in six months, for grades eight through ten. He completed his education through Cambridge International Examinations' International General Certificate of Secondary Schooling (IGCSE) program.

Rise To Prominence

The rise to prominence of Nirbhay continued. At thirteen years old, he already acquired his High School Certificate (HSC). At the age of 15, he became the youngest engineer in Gujarat, a testament to his unrivaled passion and intelligence. He kept moving quickly uphill. It was Nirbhay's decision to enroll in the four-year B.Tech program. In October, he completed it, capping off an amazing year. Additionally, with a score of 75 out of 360 on the Joint Entrance Examination (Main), he proved his academic prowess.

Nirbhay's Thrilling goal

At the age of fifteen, Gujarat Technological University (GTU) granted him an engineering degree in 2018. Nirbhay's hunger for knowledge never goes away. He has an incredibly audacious and thrilling goal - ten engineering degrees within the next three to four years. He has already received a generous offer for a PhD program from a prominent IIT institution, complete with financial support. 

By building a cutting-edge research facility in India with a focus on the defense sector, Nirbhay hopes to demonstrate his unwavering commitment to advancing science and technology for the benefit of society. Nirbhay became the youngest engineer in Gujarat history at the age of 15. The Bhuj native gained notoriety after completing his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) program in its entirety in less than a year.
