The principal of Hardayal Public School, Anshu Yadav, Bahadurgarh, Haryana has addressed the recent controversy surrounding the exceptional NEET scores achieved by the school's students. Six students from the school scored a perfect 720 out of 720, while two others scored 718 and 719.

Principal Yadav clarified the school's role in conducting the NEET exam, stating, "The NTA instructed us to collect the exam sets from SBI and Canara Bank, which we did. No student's time was wasted during the process."

This was the first time Hardayal Public School conducted the NEET exam, and the staff received training for it. However, Principal Yadav mentioned that they were not informed about the possibility of double sets of question papers, even during orientation.

There has been an uproar among students and parents in Haryana, where last year's NEET cutoff was 610. This year, despite scoring between 650 and 710, many students did not receive grace marks and are now struggling to secure admissions in good colleges.

Students have voiced their concerns about confusion caused by teachers, resulting in some receiving two sets of questions. They argue that had their center been Hardayal Public School, they too might have benefited and achieved perfect scores. These grievances have led to widespread criticism of the NTA's procedures.

As the controversy unfolds, questions about the fairness and transparency of the NEET exam continue to be raised, putting the spotlight on both the NTA and the role of examination centers like Hardayal Public School.
