The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the UGC NET exam 2024 for the June session tomorrow, June 18, 2024. The UGC NET June 2024 exam will be held in OMR-based mode (offline). NTA has set up 360 exam centers across various locations in the country to facilitate the examination.
Admit Card and Documents
Candidates appearing for the exam can download the UGC NET June admit card 2024 from the official website - ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Note that NTA will not send the hard copy of the UGC NET admit card 2024 by post, so candidates must download it online. It is mandatory to carry the UGC NET 2024 admit card to the exam centers for verification purposes. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
Required Documents
Along with the UGC NET June 2024 admit card, candidates must carry one of the following documents for identity verification:
- Passport
- Two passport-size photographs
- Driving license
- Voter ID card
- PAN card
- Aadhaar card
- PwD certificate (if applicable)
General Guidelines
- Electronic Devices: Electronic devices, gadgets, and any other accessories are not allowed inside the exam center.
- Photo ID Proof: Candidates must carry a valid original photo ID proof.
- Reporting Time: Candidates should reach the exam center at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
- Instructions on Admit Card: Follow the instructions provided on the admit card carefully.
Conduct of Exam
Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the admit card carefully before the examination. Here are some key points to note:
- Reporting Time: Candidates should report to the exam center two hours before the exam begins to complete frisking and registration. The registration desk will close 30 minutes before the exam.
- Seating: A seat indicating the roll number will be allotted to each candidate. Candidates must sit in their allocated seats only. Changing seats without permission will lead to cancellation of candidature.
- Question Paper: Ensure the question paper matches the subject indicated on the admit card. If there is a discrepancy, inform the invigilator immediately.
- Identity Verification: The admit card must be shown on demand for admission to the examination room. The test center staff is authorized to verify the candidate's identity.
