In yet another scathing attack on the Bihar's deputy CM Sushil Modi, RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav alleged that he is agitated after seeing the support of people for Lalu Yadav and his party RJD.
Taking to Twitter, he lashed out at the deputy Chief Minister over his alleged involvement in the Srijan scam. He has also referred to the Rafale controversy and made a casteist attack:
"Srijan thief Sushil Modi has agitated after seeing the defeat. He has crossed all limits of mental bankruptcy and is saying that Lalu ji is involved with the Sangh."
Lalu ji is that person who had handled the Sanghis with utmost strictness.
Go and search for some other reason Srijan thief, brother of Rafale thief belonging to the same clan."
Taking his attack further, he highlighted that his father and former CM of Bihar Lalu Yadav had arrested BJP veteran LK Advani during the 1990 Rath Yatra to Ayodhya and had not let the Sangh enter the state of Bihar.
"Srijan thief ji, Lalu ji did not let the hate and filthy politics of Sangh to enter Bihar. He also stopped Advani ji in his Yatra. He did not let one riot to happen in 15 years.
'Khandaani Chor sahab', people are laughing at the actions you are taking out of the fear and anxiousness of defeat."
On Tuesday, reacting on Sushil Modi's decision to file a defamation suit against Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi had said that he himself (Sushil Modi) is a 'Srijan chor' (Srijan thief) referring to the alleged transfer of government funds in accounts of the Srijan Mahila Sahyog Samiti NGO during Bihar's CM Nitish Kumar earlier reign.
Responding to the comment by Tejashwi calling him 'Srijan chor', Sushil Modi in an exclusive interview to Republic TV said:
"Tejashwi is a child. His entire foundation is based on corruption. At such a young age he is owner of several properties in different parts of the country and he has been chargesheeted at the age of 29. How can he call me chor? Everybody knows my integrity."
Bihar goes on polls all phases. The counting of the Lok Sabha elections will be held on May 23.
