To contend against chief minister Mamata Banerjee's TMC and a dodgy Congress-CPI (M) probable alliance, BJP has released its first list for the state of West Bengal.
The grand nephew of Subhash Chandra Bose, Chandra Kumar Bose is set to fight the South Kolkata seat, and is the new face of BJP in the the Mamata Banerjee-led state.

On Wednesday, the party held its the third CEC meeting which was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and found party president Amit Shah, and Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley in attendance.
The Congress has already announced candidates for 146 Lok Sabha constituencies so far. The deadline to file the nominations is March 25.
